all those years, chasing down a daydream

kind of miss listening to my friends play piano

just sitting there and listening to them was smth i could do for hours when i lived near a hobby pianist (1st year) or when people jioed me to listen to them play in the mtb hallway/music room (2nd year)

something that felt simultaneously intimate (listening to them create their favourite songs) yet with the distance of a performance (playing for themselves, but also playing for you)

shhhhhhhhh don't tell them later i sound creepy HAHA

i love looking through old posts HAHAHAHA definitely remember worrying that oxf was full of nerds but at the close of my degree i'm so glad for my friends from here!! (though tbh many of them really are pretty nerdy LOL)
