Keep saying I'll update but in the end I just give up and go to sleep lol (even in the morning!)
1. Sportsfest
- Woke up late, had breakfast with Louisa and Chunyen, talked :) CHEERLEADING WAS SO GOOD whoa can't believe it!! They deserved their gold :')
Spent time talking to the juniors too manz I miss them! (Okay mostly the Sec3s HAHA the black-tag batch will always be my favourite juniors ;D) caught up on netball stuff with Natalie Weixin Freda (apparently everyone's playing ENL now!! O: pity the Sec4s can't play as a batch like we did though hur) and Beatrice and Jiaying were so cute HAHA 'I feel like a Sec2 again!!' aww ;')
Had lunch for super long and nearly fell asleep HAHA.
2. Training + Lady Windermere's Fan
Went back to school after super-long-lunch and slept/lepaked around outside the ISH with Hsiaowei! Aiya training was just a super-extended warmup.
Left early to meet Mary (who bought me chicken rice on her way to school! ^.^) for Lady Windermere's Fan (A Play About A Good Woman) and laughed a lot at the semi-accents, but it was actually really good :)) especially the scene where the lady goes 'if nothing else, stay for your child' AHHHH :')
Met Chongrong after that for dessert (and bought sushi along the way!), we were gonna go Island Creamery but it was gonna close by the time we reached so we settled for MacDonald's McFlurry xD
3. NDP V1
SO EGGCITED haha got a quiet group which was actually a blessing 'cause Kelvin could only come after lunch so I had to tank alone for the first few hours xD they're all real helpful too, looking forward to working with this group for the next few weeks :)) also to working with Kelvin, and the rest of the blue sector leaders, they're all so capable it's unbelievable O:
4. Gearup
WAS SO TIRED went to get a drink with Richelle after the training but still not sure if it was a good idea, managed to get about two hours of sleep at home before heading for Gearup (thank goodness we had a late slot)(apparently the groups that started earlier basically ended at 4+ waste time much?? can't even go home sia. hooray for late slot!)
Carbo-loaded just before starting off (MacDonald's fries! and raisin bread from 7Eleven LOL), bike was a bit screwy but still workable :) it's quite fun cycling with the batch haha can talk nonsense whenever we want, and just stone and ride behind the person in front of you otherwise!
Roads were really sian with all the start/stop, but Punggol waterway WAS SO PRETTYYYY :D stupid red road was muddy though so all our thighs were really gross + bag was ABSOLUTELY SPLATTERED sigh had more washing to do. SAW THE MOON RISE AT 1AM WHOAH it was huge!! Next time I'm awake at 1am with the horizon in sight I definitely know what imma be looking out for. Cycling on the airport runway road was surreal, it was all misty and foggy-looking 'cause the afternoon was so humid, so it was like 7km of straight road straight into the mist and sometimes we couldn't see the people in front if they were too far away. (plus Rachel was busy singing the school song with Fangning and Yiling occasionally joining in #okcool) Seriously it's fantastic to cycle at 3am+ the roads practically belong to us!
Ended about 5.30am+ at ECP, took half an hour to walk to MacDonald's and fell asleep right after that even though we planned to watch the sunrise T.T (or rather, I fell deepdeep asleep and none of my batchmates woke me up T.T) Hahhah oh well~
5. Monday
PW meeting which was maybe semi-productive, lepaking in the canteen with half the class (everyone coming to school to do PW LOL) + all the girls laughing at Zijian because he does stupid things, late+long lunch at Holland V with Chongrong! It's so hard to find a place to eat there lol not centralized like a shopping mall xD
6. Tuesday
Went to school to study + play (surprisingly the ISH was open!) + run in the afternoon/evening with Chongrong followed by dinner at Star Vista, except we took too long so by the time we got there all the shops were closing!! D: stoopz lah no one wants to stay open after 10pm on a weekday night hahhah. Ended up eating at the 24h MacDonald's at Botanic haha xD
7. MakeAWish Golf Tournament
Was quite sian lol haven't been to the office in too long already, totally out of the loop for everything! Met Preethi and Cardinia 'cause apparently RGS is doing charity internships now? Quite fun to hear about everything in RGS haha ;D also idk why but every time I end up talking to the photographer/other service people at events LOL today while we were lepaking outside during the dinner I found out the quiet girl printing photos (Nicole!) is from NYJC J1 and does it part-time in the evenings! Cool sia. Even while on the course I probably talked to Ray (the photographer for the group shot) more than the golfers HAHA. Aiya they're just so much friendlier/easier to talk to than businesspeople/chairpeople.
8. Today!
Slept the morning away before going to school for lunch and studying, watched the RI side floorball get a clinic from world-class players! Quite funny haha we were the last to reach but everyone else left before they decided to play match (aka THE MOST INTERESTING PART) oh well~ some of the shots they made were super exciting!! Sigh I want to play like that too. Went for dessert-before-dinner, but the tangyuan at DessertStory is so small! Snow ice there is more worth it ;)
